Role Purpose:
The Director, Data & AI Enablement is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of development and management of BI & AI solutions in the regions by guiding the teams, defining enablement and adoption strategies, and ensuring alignment with overall Express and BICOE objectives. This role ensures that regional BI&AI products and services are delivered within the agreed quality and governance, in accordance with established global standards and roadmaps. Additionally, the position ensures adherence to Express business and IT standards, not limited to architecture, security, development, process standards.

The Director is an advanced level position within the product and project management job family.

Accountable for the visions, strategy, roadmaps of global programs and products appropriate to specified business area.
- Drive appropriate change management in business processes to ensure that business impact is realized.
- Accountable for business impact delivered within agreed time, cost quality, and governance.
- Guide the regions to ensure that the programs and products are managed in a harmonized way, with maximum sharing and minimal effort and cost duplication.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from customers, stakeholders, and market trends to continuously improve products.
- Responsible for software, hardware and professional services contracts and budget.
- Build working relationships with the Business and IT teams in the Express Regions and other Corporate Divisions to get alignment and leverage potential synergies.
- Establish and manage relationships with external partners that support DHL Express IT.
- Align with Architecture, Technology, Security, Risk, IT & Enterprise strategies.
- Monitors the emergence of new data development technologies and methodologies and where appropriate apply it to the data analytics development process.

Minimum 10 years of experience in Digital or Analytics.
- At least 7 years of experience in Data-intensive product development.

Strong product management skills, with experience in product strategy, roadmap planning, and product lifecycle management.
- Good research and analysis skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize customer feedback and market trends.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.
- Strong practice with Agile development methodologies, DevOps and product management tools.
- Proven record of working with data, BI, analytics, ML/AI solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey product concepts and benefits to internal stakeholders; ready to present to C-level.
- Good knowledge of at least one of the functional areas: customer relationships and sales, e-com/freight forwarding/express/logistics operations, any service operations.
