About the job:
The Belgium Supply Chain Operations Manager owns the end-to-end execution and ultimate commercial impact of the country's customer service and logistics operations. This is not a role for a bystander; it requires a high-energy challenger who pursues operational excellence, relentlessly optimizes costs and safeguards our asset footprint while maintaining compliance with GDP, GWP, and local regulations.
As a strategic business partner to the Belgium Country Head, you translate business strategy into operational execution while challenging the status quo to optimize the Route-to-Market (RTM) and consistently deliver a best-in-class On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance. You lead and hold external 3PL partners accountable for service and cost efficiency and enable a customer-centric order-to-cash (O2C) and fulfillment ecosystem through aligned teams, strong data governance, and standardized processes as a non-negotiable foundation for sustainable growth and flawless execution

Main responsibilities:
- Lead 3PL performance and operations: Own end-to-end logistics (warehousing, transport, co-packing, distribution) and hold partners accountable to SLAs, service levels, cost efficiency, and compliance.
- Drive execution and performance: Own S&OE, proactively resolve operational bottlenecks, and safeguard Net Sales while delivering OTIF and cost targets.
- Partner with Commercial and Finance: Act as a strategic partner to Commercial teams and customers, optimizing order profiles, improving cost efficiency, and supporting profitable growth.
- Own logistics KPIs and continuous improvement: Monitor and improve service, cost, and compliance KPIs, leading initiatives that enhance customer experience and reduce cost-to-serve.
- Enable customer-centric O2C and fulfillment : Ensure seamless execution through aligned processes, accurate billing and inventory, and strong coordination across internal teams and external partners.
- Customer Service Engagement Strategy: Build strong relationships with key customers, define customer service engagement plans with Commercial teams, and leverage feedback and data insights to improve service and retention.
- Ensure data, systems, and governance excellence: Own customer master data and commercial conditions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with SOPs and SLAs, while leveraging systems, analytics, and reporting to drive decision-making and performance.
- Service & Cost Improvement: Lead high-impact supply chain initiatives to reduce cost-to-serve while elevating customer experience and supporting commercial growth.
About you:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a highly analytical field.
- Experience: 5–7 years of experience in Customer Service, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations, ideally within the FMCG or Consumer Health (FMHC) sectors in the local market.
- Systems & Data: Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP required) and experience managing complex customer master data environments.
- Logistics Expertise: Solid knowledge of warehousing, 3PL management, GDP/GWP compliance, and local distribution networks.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage customer service relationships and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Languages: Fluency in English and all local Belgian market languages (French and Dutch) to confidently negotiate, and influence at all levels.
