You will investigate new technologies, scientific breakthroughs, and market trends, helping to identify opportunities for future product and technology development.
Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, research partners, and innovative start-ups, you will assess both the technical feasibility and business potential of new concepts.
Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovation trends
Scout start-ups, universities, research institutes, and technology ecosystems
Perform feasibility studies and techno-economic assessments
Develop concepts, models, and simulations to evaluate new ideas
Conduct data analysis and experimental validation activities
Support proof-of-concept development and early-stage innovation projects
Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external technology partners
Contribute to knowledge sharing and technology roadmaps
Translate scientific and technological developments into industrial opportunities
Your Profile
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
Broad understanding of industrial processes, energy systems, or process technologies
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Interest in innovation, emerging technologies, and R&D activities
Strong communication skills in English
Dutch is considered a plus
