Responsibilities
Overall support for the assigned product line(s)
- Assist the product manager in all tasks from product roadmap development to go to market implementation & new product introduction.
- Central point of contact for other departments for requests on products, pricing, master data, changes, quality concers, supply issues, special customer inquiries.
Support new product launches, global as weel as regional
- Get a good understanding on the products and total offer to be launched and keep track of all tasks required to successfully bring a new poduct to the market.
- Be part of the global and/or regional launch team, work closely with US and regional marketing colleagues to ensure all necessary information is available in a timely manner.
- Follow the NPI process to ensure products are set up in the different systems, with the necessary product master data to allow for ordering, shipping and invoicing.
- Work closely with marketing communication to ensure all created sales tools have correct and complete product data.
- Prepare pricing files and ensure new products are added to the system as well as the published price list once pricing has been set by the PM.
- Work closely with the planning department to monitor first shipments and intial launch inventory levels.
Product lifecycle management
- Ensure the PIM tool (STEP) remains up to date (complete, correct & consistent master data) by updating the product master data when changes occur (pricing, product status, product hierarchy information, product changes, new attributes,...) and ensure those changes are accurately reflected in sales tools when those get updated.
- Proactively perform quality checks on the data the PIM tool (STEP).
- Provide data support for projects initiated by the product manager, the R&D/Lab team, Sourcing, Quality or change management. This support is often related to providing systems data on sales, consumption, inventory, SKU history, Y-number changes,...
Publishing
- Ensure the necessary attribute data is available in the systems for creation and publishing of collateral, catalogues and web sites.
- Closely work with the marcom department (content and digital teams) to ensure collateral updates are taking master data updates into account and answering to new requests for master data attributes if required for specific sales tools or digital.
- Ensure that pricing information is always available and up to date, provide the necessary pricing input for the quarterly price list review as well as for the yearly new price list (linked to price increase).
- Publish regular STEP export for channel partners to use in their online & offline communication.
- Keep an overview on the data structure and make sure all publishing needs are met. Adapt or update the attributes & system requirements when data gaps are identified.
Other Projects
- EMEA NPD reporting & co-ordination
- Keeping track of regional and global roadmaps as well as newly initiated roadmap projects and R&D budget allocation.
- Monthly reporting of NPD sales numbers for defined projects.
- Support for regional & global IP activity & legal contract requirements
- STEP/ PIM Co-ordination
- Develop roadmap & improvement plan for the regional PIM tool STEP.
- Work with the different teams and departments, regionally as well as globally to ensure timely and successful execution of the defined priorities.
- Keep track of system improvements and make sure the STEP users are sufficiently trained to ensure optimal use of the system.
- Have process in place to regularly monitor the STEP data quality by requesting and reviewing data audit reports, work with other PMAs on making the necessary changes to ensure correct, complete and consistent product master data.
- Quality
- Handle incoming quality notifications for the marketing department, work with the different team members on getting the issues addressed in a structural way.
Wie je bent
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or Information Management
- 2-4 Years of working experience in the same role or a related role
- High-level expertise in Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables,..) and prio exposure to an ERP (SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics) and a PIM (STEP, Akeneo or Riversand).
- You have an eye for detail, coordination of stakeholders and you are process oriented.
- You have a very good knowledge of English and Dutch
