You are
-
Civil or Industrial Engineer, specializing in Aerospace, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Rigoureux et capable de travailler aussi bien de façon autonome qu'en équipe
-
Interested in mechanical aspects and possess critical thinking skills
As a calculation engineer, you work on both commercial and research projects in various fields such as aeronautics, space, defense, civil engineering, nuclear, and more...
You are responsible for sizing or optimizing parts under static, dynamic, and thermal loads. You participate in project follow-up meetings where you play an important role. You contribute ideas to the design of the subjects studied and how they are modeled. Within your team, you work under the supervision of the project manager, collaborating with design engineers and the CAD department. Naturally curious, you conduct research to always model various structures and their behavior more accurately.
As a calculator, you will be required to use one or several of the following software tools:
- Samcef, LS-Dyna (calculation solver)
-
NX and Hyperworks (integrated solution: meshing, solver, post-processing )
-
CATIA, Creo (CAD software)
-
Microsoft Office (office software)
- Windows and/or Linux
Knowledge of some of these software tools as well as proficiency in English are assets. However, we are well aware that as a recent graduate, these requirements may not be fully acquired yet.
To support your integration into the team, we offer training and the support of our existing team members. As you progress, you will be entrusted with projects to evolve towards a more comprehensive management of them, including managing a client and/or a team.
