Description:
As a senior Functional Analyst with proven experience in bank and insurance, you have over 5 years of experience in managing the functional design of information systems :
- You create the concept and manage the planning for preliminary analysis and design phase;
- You perform the functional analysis of information systems and draw up the functional design after the prestudy;
- You support changes and enhancements from development through production;
- You recommend and implement system enhancements;
- You develop new program requirements and specifications to support specific customer needs;
- You support system upgrades and resolve problems with current systems;
- You analyse service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements and project time estimates.
Next to a proven experience in bank and insurance, you have the following core competences : Agile Methodologies, Analytical thinking, Collaborating, Data driven, IT Security, Software development..

Are you an experienced SimCorp Dimension developer who enjoys combining technical depth with real business impact? At KBC Asset Management, you will work on a strategic front-to-back investment platform that supports the full investment lifecycle: from order creation, trading and portfolio management to accounting, settlement, reporting and operational follow-up.
You will join a multiskilled agile team that is responsible for both change initiatives and the ongoing maintenance of SimCorp Dimension. The focus is on a mature and complex asset management environment where SimCorp Dimension is not a standalone application, but a core platform integrated with DEX, DFS, SWIFT and Communication Server.
What you will do
- Design, configure, develop and maintain solutions in SimCorp Dimension across front-office, risk and integration domains.
- Translate business needs into robust functional and technical designs, with a strong focus on scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Work on integrations and data flows using tools and technologies such as DEX, DFS, Communication Server, XML/XSLT, Oracle and FIX.
- Support modules and capabilities such as Trade Manager, Order Manager, Asset Manager configuration, Compliance Manager, benchmark data, Cash Bucket, Collateral & Margin Manager, Portfolio Cost and risk calculations such as VaR.
- Contribute to testing, deployment, release management, documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Provide application support, including 2nd line support and participation in on-call activities when required.
What you bring
- Strong hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension in an asset management or investment operations context.
- Experience with configuration, interfaces, batch processing, testing and production support.
- Good understanding of front-to-back investment processes and the connection between business workflows, data, interfaces and operations.
- Technical skills in areas such as UAC/UDM, Perl, XML/XSLT, Oracle, FIX protocol, deployment and release management are strong assets.
- A structured way of working: you think before you build, document what matters and design for long-term maintainability.
- An ownership mindset, with the ability to collaborate across teams, learn fast and improve continuously.
