Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- Minimum of 4 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles;
- Proven experience leading complex migrations from legacy virtualized applications to containerized, microservice-based architectures;
- Expertise in provisioning, securing, and lifecycle-managing large-scale, multi-cluster Kubernetes environments using SUSE Rancher UI/API and Rancher Manager.
Duties/role:
- Designing, building, and evolving highly scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes platforms utilizing SUSE Rancher as the central management plane;
- Handling the end-to-end lifecycle of RKE/RKE2 clusters (provisioning, scaling, patching, and upgrading) across hybrid, multi-cloud, or bare-metal environments with minimal to zero downtime;
- Developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines and implementing GitOps workflows (using tools such as GitLab, Argo CD, or Rancher Fleet) to streamline continuous application delivery.
