We are currently recruiting a Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will provides deep expertise to support the setup of the SAP S4 project for EMEA parts and vehicles operations.
This role is a temporary – project base contract of 12 months.
The value of the SME lies in guiding requirements gathering, validating process designs, and ensuring solutions accurately reflect operational realities. He/she operates in the EMEA reality of parts and vehicles business within BRP. As an embedded expert, the SME collaborates with cross functional teams, reviews deliverables for accuracy, supports training and knowledge transfer, and contributes to process improvements across logistics operations. The SME also participates extensively in testing, ensuring solutions are validated against business needs and operational realities. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Act as a trusted logistics expert
Advise cross-functional teams on best practices, risks, and operational impacts.
Support the development and implementation of logistics policies and processes.
Collaborate with business and IT to define clear business requirements.
Lead or contribute to requirements gathering and as-is/to-be process mapping.
Propose and oversee improvements to optimize existing processes.
Review and validate deliverables such as BRDs, process maps, test cases, and training materials.
Identify risks, dependencies, and exceptions across processes.
Participate in solution validation, including UAT and acceptance criteria definition.
Support training, knowledge transfer, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain or equivalent
5 years’ experience in supply chain and or in a similar position
Strong expertise in logistics operations (warehousing, transport, inventory, distribution, trade compliance).
Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
Ability to translate operational needs into clear requirements and documentation.
Experience with WMS, TMS, and SAP S4 HANA systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Skilled in reviewing complex deliverables and facilitating workshops or training.
Collaborative mindset across business, IT, and operations.
Adaptable in dynamic, project-based environments with a continuous improvement approach.
Strong English skills
