Performs journeyman level electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for facility and utility systems. Installs and services switchgear, transformers, panels, lighting controls, and motor control centers up to 600 V. Performs circuit analysis, insulation-resistance testing, and ensures compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and LOGCAP V standards. Provides mentorship to junior electricians and supports scheduled outages and QA / QC inspections and performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

High school diploma or equivalent

Journeyman-level electrical experience

Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability

Valid driver’s license

Certificates

OSHA 30 (required within 90 days of hire)

NFPA 70E Qualified Worker (required within 90 days of hire)

Advanced LOTO (required within 90 days of hire)

Arc Flash certification (required within 90 days of hire)

Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent (Required)

Working Conditions:
-
Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, wet, tropical, environment with average temperatures of 130 degrees in the summer months).

Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
