About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver / Chauffeur to join our team in Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of passengers, goods, or company materials while providing a high standard of customer service.
The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers, goods, documents, or company materials.
- Follow planned routes and ensure timely arrivals and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented vehicle.
- Perform basic vehicle safety checks before and after each journey.
- Monitor fuel levels, vehicle condition, and maintenance requirements.
- Comply with Belgian traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Assist passengers with luggage or goods when required.
- Complete delivery documents, trip records, and other required paperwork.
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Report accidents, vehicle defects, delays, or other issues promptly.
- Use GPS and navigation systems to plan efficient routes.
- Maintain confidentiality when transporting documents or sensitive materials.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
- Previous professional driving experience is preferred.
- Clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of local roads and navigation systems.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively.
- Physical ability to load and unload goods when required.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when required.
- Knowledge of Dutch, French, or English depending on the location and role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a professional driver, chauffeur, delivery driver, or courier.
- Experience with passenger transportation or commercial deliveries.
- Knowledge of Brussels and other major Belgian cities.
- Experience using delivery or route-management applications.
- Additional driving qualifications for commercial vehicles are an advantage.
