The Ghent Marriott Hotel is looking for enthusiastic job students to join our Food Beverage team at the iconic Korenlei terrace, Midtown Grill restaurant, bar and events. You’ll help create memorable guest experiences in a lively and international atmosphere right in the heart of the city.
Whether you already have hospitality experience or are looking for your first student job, we’re mainly looking for positive energy, motivation and a guest-focused attitude.
As part of our terrace and restaurant team, you will:
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Take food and drink orders and serve them with care
- Help guests with menu recommendations
- Keep the terrace and restaurant area clean and organized
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
- Handle payments correctly
- Help create a fun, energetic and welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues
- You are at least 18 years old
- You enjoy working with people and have a positive attitude
- Experience in hospitality is a plus, but not required
- You are flexible and available during evenings, weekends, holidays or summer periods
- You work well in a team and stay calm during busy moments
- You speak fluent English or Dutch (additional languages are a bonus)
