Business Development Representative – Construction
CYECO is looking for a Business Development Representative to help develop new commercial opportunities in the Belgian construction market.
The role is based in the Brussels area and focuses on finding new clients, identifying projects, developing relationships, and following opportunities from the first contact through quotation and negotiation.
You will be in regular contact with general contractors, developers, architects, engineering offices, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the construction sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients, projects, and new commercial opportunities
- Prospect through phone, email, LinkedIn, meetings, and industry contacts
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Qualify opportunities and understand client requirements
- Present CYECO's services and capabilities
- Coordinate internally with technical and project teams
- Follow quotations and commercial discussions
- Support negotiations and follow opportunities through to conclusion
- Maintain an organised pipeline of prospects and opportunities
- Monitor the market and identify new sectors, clients, and projects
Profile
- Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or a similar commercial role
- Comfortable with proactive prospecting and developing new customers
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Experience in construction, engineering, HVAC, electrical, sanitary, building materials, or another technical B2B sector is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of the Belgian business environment is an advantage
- Able to work independently and manage several opportunities at the same time
- Comfortable travelling to clients and project locations within Belgium
- Professional working proficiency in French or Dutch
- Good command of English
- Knowledge of both French and Dutch is a strong advantage
- A degree in business, engineering, construction, or a related field is an advantage, but relevant practical experience is equally valued
Pay: From €26.803,00 per year
