You will start with thorough in-house training to qualify to operate all types of vehicles and equipment used at the Intervention Center site, on public roads, and at work sites. This includes light vehicles, forklifts, overhead cranes, heavy trucks with trailers, and truck-mounted cranes.
Initially, you will work mainly at the Intervention Center in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. After an onboarding period, you will also be responsible for transporting personnel and equipment from the Sint-Pieters-Leeuw depot to various work sites throughout Belgium.
You will assist welders and fitters in carrying out interventions on the Fluxys natural gas network.
When working in the workshops in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, you will also perform assembly tasks as assigned by colleagues and assist in carrying out tests, including strength and tightness (leak-tightness) testing.
