As a Network Engineer, you are responsible for the design, management, and maintenance of our clients’ network and security infrastructures. You ensure that connections are reliable, secure, and perform optimally — both on-premise and in the cloud.
In your consultancy role, you’ll work on-site at one of our clients, often for an extended period. This allows you to help build their IT environment and get to know the organization well, while still enjoying the variety and growth opportunities that consultancy offers — new clients, new environments, new challenges.
Manage, configure, and optimize network components (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
Implement network improvements and security measures
Analyze and resolve network incidents and outages
Perform network monitoring, capacity management, and performance tuning
Contribute to migrations, upgrades, and new network projects
Document changes and provide advice on optimizations
You are an experienced networking professional who thinks in terms of connections — both literally and figuratively. You have an eye for detail, work in a structured way, and enjoy discussing improvements and innovations within infrastructure.
You have:
At least 3 years of experience as a network administrator or network engineer
A degree in an IT-related field
Knowledge of routing & switching, LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and firewalls
Experience with vendors such as Cisco, HP/Aruba, Fortinet, or Palo Alto
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix)
Basic knowledge of security, cloud networking (Azure, AWS), or SD-WAN
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, or Aruba Certified are a plus
Good command of Dutch and English (French is an advantage)
A category B driver’s license
As a consultant, you’ll be assigned to projects at clients throughout Flanders. We do take your region into account. Our consultancy assignments are long-term, typically with one fixed client.
