As a Finance Trainee at the Ghent Marriott Hotel, you will gain hands-on experience in hotel accounting, cost control and administrative processes that keep our operations running smoothly.

During your internship, you will support the Finance team in managing the daily financial operations of the Ghent Marriott Hotel. You will learn how hotel revenues, costs, inventories and financial processes come together to ensure accurate reporting.
Your tasks may include:
- Helping with accruals, reconciliations and administrative tasks.
- Assisting the Finance team in preparing month-end financial reports.
- Keeping accurate records of all amounts due to suppliers and preparing payments.
- Learning how financial processes contribute to stable hotel operations.
- Supporting managers with data, reporting, and process improvements.
- Participating in departmental projects, to improve or develop processes
- Assist in the supervision of the billing across all departments
In short: you will gain a complete introduction to hotel finance, from revenue control to cost monitoring and financial reporting.
- You are studying Accounting, Finance, Hotel Management, Business Administration or a similar field.
- You have a strong affinity for numbers and enjoy working with data.
- You work accurately, methodically and with great attention to detail.
- You communicate clearly and professionally.
- You are proactive, eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions.
- You are organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
- You speak English fluently.
