Position Overview
The Operational Risk and Control System (ORCS) & Norms Manager is a key control function within DAS. As a second line function, it ensures the adequate implementation of the Risk Management & Internal Control System framework within the company and the adequate fulfillment of corresponding regulatory/group/local requirements.
You will be part of a team of 6 people including the Head of the department (also Chief Risk Officer). The small size of the team guarantees you direct involvement in key Risk Management processes of the company and regular contacts with key stakeholders within the company (Executive Committee, Management).
Mission and purpose of the function

Support the Head of Non Financial Risk Management in the implementation and maintenance of the Operational Risk and Control System (ORCS) – also called the Internal Control System-.

Ensure proper documentation and management of business processes (including corresponding risk and controls) according to Group standards.

Coordinate and steer the annual ORCS cycle across the organization (update processes, update assessment on risk and controls, control testing, quality assurance, reporting on ORCS results,..)

Support the development and implementation of risk management norms (policies and guidelines)

Maintain an overview and monitoring on all relevant business norms and their corresponding translation into the ORCS

Provide second line oversight on operational risk assessments and controls
