Main Missions & Responsibilities
1. Support to the AFC Chief of Staff
The VIE will contribute to the smooth follow-up and structuring of AFC strategic initiatives by:
- Monitoring and following up on ~70 initiatives within the AFC PMT governance framework
- Supporting the preparation of PMT and management-level materials, including:
o information gathering,
o structured analyses,
o synthesis notes and presentations
- Contributing to ad-hoc strategic topics, depending on priorities (transversal projects, coordination with other Group functions, preparation of decision-support materials).
2. Support to Business Performance Management
Within BPM, the VIE will act as an analytical and coordination support, with a strong focus on harmonization, efficiency and data consistency across entities.
- Synergy tracking & process improvement
o Improving and managing the AFC synergy collection process
o Supporting the consistency, reliability and usability of reported synergies at Group level
o Cataloguing key AFC data and business concepts
o Supporting clarification of definitions and alignment across entities
o Coordinating data ownership and contributing to data governance efforts
o Providing analytical support for tooling-related needs
o Acting as a bridge between Business and Data IT stakeholders
- BI & Reporting Expert and Coordination (Power BI)
o Supporting coordination of BI developments across AFC
o Contributing to:
common design language,
reporting standards,
the setup of logical schema’s to combine and exploit data
- Reporting Landscape Rationalization
o Mapping existing AFC reports across countries
o Identifying overlaps, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
o Providing ad-hoc analytical support on MBD topics when bandwidth allows, in coordination with relevant stakeholders
