About Ephyca
Ephyca offers engineering services for the detection and analysis of cognitive/physiological states (e.g. drowsiness, cognitive load, stress, mind wandering, etc.). We combine expertise in engineering, cognitive sciences, neurology, and human factors to enable our customers to deeply understand human beings. We support customers across Europe in several markets (automotive, aviation, research, etc.) and use cases (safety, performance, health, etc.).
Ephyca was co-founded in 2025 by 2 seasoned entrepreneurs in the monitoring of cognitive/physiological states.
Your role
As a member of our engineering team, your main mission is to deliver customer projects, from the customer needs identification to the delivery of the project results. In particular, your position involves
- Data collection activities (protocol definition, ethics committee, participants recruitment, equipment setup, planning, data collection)
- Use of several scientific equipment (e.g., eye-tracker, electroencephalogram, etc.).
- Data analysis
- Project documentation and reporting
- Customer meetings
- Support to sales & marketing activities
Your profile
- Master or PhD in psychology, or similar experience
- You agree with flexible working hours, in particular for some data collection campaigns (sometimes with night shift)
- Fluent in French
- Good knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Driving license
- Experience in human factors, cognitive ergonomics, or in neuropsychology is a plus
- Experience in scientific data collection with human beings is a plus
- Experience in statistical analysis is a plus
