Your role as a Pricing & Tender Analyst
As a Pricing & Tender Analyst, you will support our organization in determining competitive and well-substantiated transport rates. You will translate operational data and costs into clear pricing models and ensure that these remain up to date and fit for purpose.
In addition, you will take ownership of the entire tender process and monitor the results of new transport flows. This role combines pricing, analysis, and tender management, making it a varied and dynamic position.
Your tasks:

Develop transport rates: Translate costs, volumes, and operational parameters into well-founded pricing models for various transport solutions and European markets.

Manage and optimize pricing: Keep existing pricing models up to date and respond to changes in costs, market conditions, and operational circumstances.

Manage tenders from A to Z: Analyze requests, gather the necessary input, develop pricing proposals, and ensure accurate and timely submissions.

Measure profitability: Analyze new and existing transport flows and compare initial calculations with actual performance and costs.

Turn data into insights: Structure information in Excel and our internal systems, and translate analyses into clear insights for the relevant teams.
Who you are:

Education: You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, logistics, supply chain, finance, mathematics, or a related field.

Analytical thinker: You are strong with numbers, data, cost calculations, and identifying connections and trends.

Excel expert: You are proficient with formulas, datasets, and calculation models, and are able to structure complex calculations in a clear and organized way.

Accurate and structured: You have a strong eye for detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

Digitally savvy: You quickly adapt to new systems and are enthusiastic about using data and tools effectively.

Language skills: You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English.
Knowledge of transport and logistics is a strong advantage. However, if you have a strong analytical background and an affinity for the sector, we are also open to providing you with the necessary training and knowledge to develop your expertise in transport pricing.
