As part of bringing our food products (dairy products & plant-based alternatives) to market in Europe, and particularly in the Benelux region, we are looking for a talented, motivated, flexible, dynamic, and enthusiastic intern (M/F) to join our Food Regulatory, Nutrition & Marketing BeNeLux team, based in Braine-l’Alleud (near Brussels), for a 3 to 6 months internship starting in August 2026.
Under the supervision of our Food Regulatory & Specification Manager BeNeLux, you will be integrated into a dynamic team and take part in a 360° mission at the heart of our brands, products, and consumer activation initiatives. Our Food Regulatory, Nutrition & Specification team works closely with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders across the Benelux region, including Trade Marketing, Retail Marketing, Quality & Food Safety, Nutrition, Customer Service, and Commercial teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to nutrition-related projects promoting healthy and balanced eating habits.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (packaging, recipes, nutrition, marketing claims) within the Benelux region.
- Prepare and monitor notifications for fortified food products in Belgium.
- Support product renovation and innovation projects in collaboration with the R&D team (nutritional specifications and requirements).
- Manage product specifications within the ERP system and ensure compliance before products are launched on the Benelux market.
- Support teams in responding to customer requests related to product quality and specifications.
- Collaborate with the Food Regulatory & Specification Manager on various projects (nutrition, data cleaning, etc.).
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in:
- Understanding regulatory requirements for food products at EU and Benelux level, particularly regarding nutrition, consumer information, marketing activities, and associated regulatory constraints.
- Expanding your experience and expertise in the European food industry, with a particular focus on the Benelux market.
- Strengthening your organizational skills, initiative-taking, autonomy, and creativity.
YOUR PROFILE:
You can apply if:
- You are currently pursuing a Master's degree at university or a Bachelor's degree at a higher education institution in Agricultural Sciences/Agronomy, Bioengineering/Biosciences, Nutrition, Applied Biology, or studying at an International Business School (University, IAE, etc.).
- You are dynamic and enjoy working within a close-knit team, as well as collaborating with international and cross-functional stakeholders (commercial strategy, marketing, quality & food safety, food law, nutrition, etc.).
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have a good command of English and either French or Dutch.
- You are recognized for your adaptability, organizational and planning skills, flexibility, and strong analytical and summarizing abilities.
- You have knowledge of European food regulations and/or a strong interest in Regulatory Affairs or Quality & Food Safety.
- You are able to provide an internship agreement from your educational institution.
