Job Description & Summary
The challenges organisations face today require more than technical expertise. They require curious minds, diverse perspectives and people who are passionate about creating meaningful impact. At PwC, our purpose is to build trust and solve important problems. Every day, we work alongside clients, colleagues and communities to create sustainable outcomes, embrace innovation and shape a future where people and technology thrive together.
Join a collaborative, inclusive and growth-oriented environment where your ideas matter, your development is prioritised and your contribution makes a real difference. Whether you are looking to deepen your expertise, expand your horizons or accelerate your career, PwC offers the opportunities, flexibility and support to help you succeed.
Technology is transforming the way organisations operate, engage with their people and drive business performance. Within our Technology Consulting practice, we help clients turn strategy into action through innovative digital solutions, business transformation and leading HR technologies.
As a Workday HCM Consultant, you will support organisations throughout their HR transformation journey, helping them redesign processes, improve employee experiences and unlock the value of cloud-based technology. Working in multidisciplinary teams, you will collaborate with business leaders, HR professionals and technology experts to deliver high-impact Workday implementations that create lasting results.
As a Workday HCM Consultant, you will:
- Partner with clients to understand their HR strategy, business objectives and transformation ambitions.
- Lead or contribute to one or more Workday HCM workstreams throughout the implementation lifecycle, from design and configuration to testing, deployment and hypercare.
- Analyse and challenge business requirements, providing strategic and practical recommendations based on Workday leading practices.
- Design, optimise and improve HR business processes to enhance efficiency, employee experience and business value.
- Configure Workday solutions across HCM Core and related modules, ensuring quality, accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
- Coordinate workshops, facilitate discussions and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
- Use data, insights and critical thinking to develop innovative solutions for complex business challenges.
- Support project planning, delivery timelines and quality outcomes while taking ownership of assigned deliverables.
- Identify opportunities where technology solutions can further enhance HR processes and organisational performance.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Consulting, Technology, Risk and Business Consulting teams to deliver distinctive client experiences.
- Continuously expand your expertise in Workday, HR technology, digital transformation and emerging market trends.
We are looking for a professional who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and a passion for helping organisations transform.
You will ideally bring:
- A Master's degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Applied Economics, Human Resources Management, Commercial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in Workday HCM configuration and implementation projects.
- Experience delivering at least one full end-to-end Workday implementation, including design, configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare.
- Workday HCM Core Certification. Additional certifications in Recruitment, Talent and Performance, Compensation or other Workday modules are considered a strong asset.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex topics and translate them into practical solutions.
- The confidence to engage with clients, challenge assumptions constructively and provide value-driven recommendations.
- A proactive and ownership-driven mindset, taking responsibility for deliverables and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- The ability to communicate clearly, share context effectively and build trust with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach, supporting team members, exchanging ideas and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
- A growth mindset, actively seeking feedback, embracing continuous learning and staying up to date with technological advances.
- An interest in strategic technology solutions, management consulting, business consulting and HR transformation.
- The flexibility to thrive in fast-paced and evolving project environments while maintaining a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction.
At PwC, we believe that when our people grow, our clients and communities thrive. That's why we invest heavily in your development, wellbeing and career aspirations.
You can expect:
- Flexible hybrid working arrangements that support a healthy balance between professional and personal life.
- Continuous learning opportunities, including certifications, training programmes, mentoring and coaching.
- A personalised and flexible rewards package tailored to your individual needs.
- Sustainable mobility options, including electric vehicles, public transport, shared mobility and bicycle solutions.
- A diverse and inclusive culture where every voice is heard and every contribution is valued.
- Comprehensive wellbeing initiatives, professional support programmes and active employee communities.
- Exposure to challenging, high-impact projects across a variety of industries.
- Opportunities to work with international clients and collaborate with experts across the global PwC network.
- Clear career development pathways that encourage innovation, leadership, personal growth and professional excellence.
