Your challenge
To reinforce the Stock Allocation team, we’re looking for a Stock Allocation Controller. Your mission is to directly contribute to the optimal management of stock levels in all stores, both in quantitative numbers and in the various qualitative aspects of the collection, ensuring that sales and margin targets are achieved. You will report to the Allocation & Analytics Manager and play a central role in the purchasing organization. The responsibilities of this role require daily contact with LolaLiza stores and the logistics center, as well as close collaboration with the Marketing and E-commerce departments.
As a Stock Allocation Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the flow of goods to and from our stores independently. In this way, you will ensure that the right products arrive at the right place, at the right time, in the correct quantity and size, at the appropriate stores. To achieve this, you will need:
- daily monitoring of deliveries from suppliers to the LolaLiza logistics center
- knowledge of the software applications and procedures that drive our stock allocations
- a general understanding of our collection
- insight into our commercial calendar, visual merchandising requirements, and commercial actions
- visibility and understanding of the available stock in the LolaLiza logistics center
- a healthy commercial instinct and an interest in fashion
- Working closely with the planning department and sales organization to determine optimal stock levels.
- Managing store stock levels independently and overseeing both restocking and transfers between stores. This includes pushing bestsellers and removing underperforming items.
- Playing a key role in providing administrative support for commercial decisions regarding pricing, quality control, transfers, inventories, etc.
- Knowledge of our procedures, partial inventory, GSD, RBS, push of stock
- Be the backup for your colleague in ecom stock management, requires knowledges of all parameters and process steps on ecom allocations.
- Actively participating in weekly commercial meetings. In preparation, you will analyze reports and prepare your own analyses and action proposals.
- Critically evaluating work methods and making recommendations to improve efficiency.
- Be store contact person for all ad hoc questions (prices, partial inventory, stocks issues.) via general mail address “stock management”
- Managing your tasks to allow time for store visits.
- Assisting your line manager in building an efficiently working team.
Your profile:
- You have a passion for fashion and enjoy working in a fashion environment.
- You have experience working in a retail environment. Experience in stock allocation or management is a plus.
- Frequent contact with stores requires that you are fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and French.
- You are proficient in Excel (an absolute requirement).
- You have an analytical mindset and enjoy linking numbers to products.
- You are flexible, stress-resistant, and familiar with working to deadlines.
- You have a critical mindset, are eager to learn, and eager to improve.
