HEC LIEGE IS RECRUITING AN INSTRUCTOR FOR THE
“PUBLIC POLICY SEMINAR” COURSE

JOB DESCRIPTION
Preparation and delivery of the Public Policy Seminar course at HEC Liège: 30 hours in the first
semester from 9 to 12 on Monday morning
Organization and facilitation of seminar sessions devoted to the analysis and evaluation of public
policies.
Supervision and guidance of students in their individual and/or group assignments.
Assessment of students’ written work, presentations and participation.
Coordination with the academic staff responsible for the programme
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A PhD in economics, public policy, political science or a closely related field.
Sound knowledge of public policy analysis and evaluation.
Previous teaching or professional experience in the field of public policy is an asset.
Excellent command of English, as the course will be taught in English.
Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use interactive and case-based teaching methods.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Conditions of employment: Paid teaching appointment.
Type of contract: One-year replacement contract.
Remuneration: Financial details are available upon request.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS

week starting 7 September 2026.
Candidates may be asked to briefly present their teaching approach to the Public Policy Seminar
course during the interview.
