About the Position
The Quality Assurance / QC Inspector performs hands-on incoming and final inspections of products, components, and serviced equipment.
This is an execution-focused role involving physical inspection, documentation review, quality records, calibration tracking, ESD compliance, nonconforming material control, and audit preparation.
This is not a quality-management, laboratory-only, research-only, or policy-development position.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming products, components, and materials
- Perform final inspections before equipment is released to shipping
- Verify serial numbers, labels, quantities, traceability, and documentation
- Record inspection results in ERP, QMS, work-order, or tracking systems
- Follow ISO procedures and Good Documentation Practices
- Identify, document, quarantine, and escalate nonconforming materials
- Maintain calibration logs, certificates, and status labels
- Monitor ESD records and support required testing
- Assist with inventory-quality checks, cycle counts, and bin audits
- Prepare inspection reports and support internal, customer, and ISO audits
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and audit-ready work area
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of recent hands-on QA, QC, or inspection experience
- Incoming and/or final inspection experience
- Experience in an ISO-controlled or regulated repair, manufacturing, medical-device, electronics, aerospace, or industrial environment
- Experience entering inspection results into an ERP, QMS, work-order, or inspection system
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices and controlled records
- Familiarity with ESD requirements, calibration tracking, and audit processes
- Ability to use inspection, testing, measuring, or basic hand tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Strong working English and functional Dutch
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Preferred Experience
- Electronics, medical-device repair, technical service, or Service Repair Center experience
- Serial-number traceability and controlled-material workflows
- Nonconforming, defective, warranty, or quarantine materials
- Calibration and ESD documentation
- ISO audits or customer-quality reviews
- Repair orders, RMAs, return authorizations, or service documentation

Employment Details
- Full-time, standard business hours
- 100% onsite in Bornem
- €21–€24 gross per hour, depending on experience
- Approximate annual compensation: €43,680–€49,920 gross based on a 38-hour workweek
- Belgian employment contract and benefits in accordance with Belgian law
