The Role
As an Account Manager B&I, you will join our Building & Installation sales team and be responsible for the East Flanders region. You will use your commercial skills to translate the needs of both new and existing customers into the right Wavin solution. You understand the market, speak the language of our customers, and feel comfortable both on project sites and in discussions with decision-makers. You are driven to deliver results, curious by nature, and passionate about helping customers succeed.
This is a balanced role with approximately 50% account management and 50% business development. While managing and growing existing customers, you will also proactively identify and develop new opportunities and projects in the region.
The focus of the role is on above-ground solutions, including HVAC, sanitary systems, and related building products.
B&I focuses on larger construction and installation companies and works closely with various distribution partners in the market. We operate on a project basis and aim to become involved early in the decision-making process.
Identify opportunities to grow sales with existing and new customers.
Maintain, develop, and strengthen customer relationships within your region.
Translate sales plans into concrete actions to achieve business objectives.
Discuss quotations, orders, and project opportunities with customers.
Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements within established guidelines.
Use CRM tools effectively to manage your pipeline and customer activities.
Work closely with Internal Sales, Technical Advisors, and Project Teams.
Act as a key link between distributors, wholesalers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Build a strong regional network and convert opportunities into successful projects.
Requirements:
Technical and/or commercial education.
Minimum 4 years of relevant sales experience.
Languages: Fluent in Dutch, English would be a plus.
Experience in solution selling.
Analytical, solutions-oriented, and creative.
Affinity with the construction and installation sectors.
Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong relationship builder with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
